Getting clear to hear

Listening to our intuition can be hard.

What’s the difference between our intuition and our unhealthy fears, thoughts, and old unhelpful habits?

The trick is getting clear before we tune in to listen.

Some of us call this grounding or meditation, others call it centering, but there are lots of words out there for it.

We tune in to ourselves, and tune out the world around us. We breathe and let go of the expectations and to-do lists we have, the fears about future and regrets of our past and just… be. Here. Now.

When we are really present with our experience in this present moment in time we’re not worrying about what could happen, or what we’ve already done. Our thoughts and feelings will be tied to what we’re experiencing and what we need right now. This is the sweet spot of intuition, and this is the difference between our inner wisdom and everything else.

Intuition for many of us feels different. It can come as images, smells, thoughts or answers that just pop into our heads, emotions and sensations in our body, and so much more.

As we get clear and tune in to ourselves we can start to notice what our intuition feels like for us.

Trust and practice is key for intuition. So sit down, breathe in, and ask yourself a question. Then we wait for an answer. Stay present to the experience and trust the first few knowings that come through.

Take some time to make space for your quiet wisdom. I promise you won’t regret it.
